    I've had that before mate. For me it's when you've save something as a JPEG which wasn't originally a JPEG ie. You've scanned it in as a TIFF and then saved that as a JPEG. Lovely shots BTW mate!

    Theres no difference to my knowledge but i've always looked as it as "you can take the colour out of a picture but you can't put it back in, so shoot in colour and convert afterwards" I'd be very interested if there actually was a difference!

    I'd go for 17-70 and a nifty fifty to start you off, i've used Georges 17-70 and it's a cracking all purpose lens. If your thinking of getting the 50D from a foreign sell on eBay, remember i got whacked for import tax, if they open it up it'll be about £120 but mine just said "digital camera"...

    Not sounding dim pal, when Graeme, John and I did the first PFK step by step, we uses almost the exact same model, just had one light and this was the result I did shop it pretty hard but it did the job.

    Thats similar to what i was trying to say, the D40 and 350D are very alike in that they are bot an entry level SLR and you can get great results from both.

    I had a Canon 350D and got some good results with it, Graeme Edwards has one and his results speak for themselves! You could no doubt find one of them, if you got a 450D for that money then you'd be doing real well.

    A canon 350D has done me and many others very well. A 450D is now more readily available, 12 megapixels and live view, you dont get that with a D60. A second hand 350D will do the trick right nice though.

    Command-shift and 3 does a whole screen dump or command-shift and 4 allows you to selectively choose what you what to capture :wink: Loving the shot mate and loving the tank, you'd better watch that fancy new camera when the Scouser comes round :wink: :lol:
