    hmm, temperature maybe? Small tanks are susceptible to massive temperature swings as the room temp drops.

    In Little Mountain i had no heater so the tank was probably around 20-22, a PH of 7.4, a GH of 16 and a TDS of 500+. They were the last stats i checked quite some time ago. I had three small fellas and this was the result.....

    Can't say as i have, i havn't really look TBH i only have 3 adults and they are a nightmare to find in all the plants and rock work. I'll have a good look for them tonight. :)

    The only time that mine "zip" as opposed to just normal swimming is when the Co2 gets real high, like when i've turned it up LOL i had them jumping out the first time i did it! Nowadays i just increase it slowly :roll:

    I used to use Flubanol for my discus and the shrimp were fine. Dunno if it'll have the same effect on puffers as it does on discus?

    Well, by the time i'd gotten round to having a go i'd lost here somewhere in the tank and i've been down the road of ripping the scape apart for the catching of livesock before and it pains me so not this time i'm afraid but i'll certainly have ago when i see another in condition. :D

    Hi guys, one of my largest Amano shrimp is heavily laidened with eggs and i'm wondering how to get them to hatch and raise them up? i'm happy to set up another tank and i am guessing that it will need to be semi-saline or somthing but it's gotta be worth a shot? any thoughts?

    Flubenol from me too. I was happy about it killing snails but i know some wouldn't be. It was fine with the plants too.

    I could be wrong here but i'm pretty sure apple snails climb up out of the water and lay there eggs so you'll have to keep an eye out for them. They can be removed to prevent predation from your fish. I believe they are not too hard to breed.
